This alternator is a 1 wire hook-up(positive battery wire only)
It will replace the older Delco 10DN, 10SI, 12SI
When using this alternator to replace those units, you would just tape off your existing wires and run the positive battery wire to the post on the back of the alternator

Note-Vehicles Alternator No Charge Light(Idiot Light) will not function when using this alternator If your vehicle has a Volt Meter, it will function as usual
