Warranty and Return Policies

#1 - If you are unhappy with your purchase, for any reason within the first 14 days of receipt and have not installed or used it in any way, send it back for a full refund no questions asked. (Excluding special order items).
If your order is 15-30 days old and you have an approved return, there will be a 25% re-stocking fee assessed.
After 30 days, we will not accept any returns for refund....No Exceptions.
All returns must be in "new" condition to be considered for a refund.
#2 - Our "Maxx High Performance Alternators" when properly installed, are warranted by MOTOR CITY REMAN against defects in materials and workmanship for replacement for the LIFETIME of unit with original receipt. Free replacement is limited to 1 unit. After that warranty repairs would incur minimal charges for actual cost of repair.
#3 - We offer a Premium 2 year replacement warranty on Automotive, Lawn & Garden, Marine, Motocycle, ATV, Snowmobile Starter and Alternators. Industrial Starter and Alternators, and Specialty Electronic Components are replacement warranted for a period of one year. Free replacement is limited to 1 unit. After that warranty repairs would incur minimal charges for actual cost of repair.
#4 - This warranty extends to the application under normal use and service and does not apply to overload, rust, deliberate abuse, submersions, broken drive gears or housings or any other damaged not attributed directly to item.
#5 - Improper installation, careless handling, tampering or dismantling of item makes this warranty null and void.
#6 - This warranty being expressly in lieu of all other obligations or liabilities and MOTOR CITY REMAN neither assumes nor authorizes any other person or firm to assume for it any other liability in connection with the sale of its products or merchandise.
#7 - Our warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective units only. We do not offer a cash refund on any electrical item that has been installed on vehicle.
We do not cover any labor claims.
Shipping charges will not be refunded.
#8 - When making a warranty claim, "item" must be accompanied by original sales receipt.
#9 - Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping charges.
